Car has trouble starting

I have a 2003 Sonata I am the orginal owner. The car has been well maintained. Recently, I have been having trouble starting it. It takes 2 times for it to start up. It dosent happen all the time but frequently enought to cause concern. I brought it to the dealer and of course it started there. They said the battery was low and replaced it . It started doing it again, now the malfunction light is stuck on. I brought it to the dealer last night and left it there, I am waiting for them to call me. I asked him if maybe it could be a plug, he said no yours are platium and I only have 35,000 miles on the car. I asked him if it could be the gas filter? he said no, that its totally sealed in the fuel system and then he tells me that would cost 600 dollars to replace. I just went online and seen the fuel systems have been recalled on the 2003 sonata's. I have not had one problem with this car since I bought it . Oh yes I did, the air conditioner broke and when I brought it in they replaced it, They told me that had been recalled. Other than that no other problems. Does anyone know why this would happen?

It could be difirent problem , it could be the cold start ventil. Ask the dealer what he shall have for diagnostic.they conect a computer to the engine and it shall come up with the fault. All fuel ingnition have a computer box som controll there function and many system have a fault code. if you get a problem the computer save it in the system. So if they have the computer they shall could find out what is wrong. When you try to start the car did you smell gasoline? when you have try to start the car 2 ore more and the car dont start . You shall takke out one of the spark plugs and se if they get wett of gasoline

I am not going to guess, let the dealer do there job, if the Check eng lite is on it should be covered under the 7 year 70,000 mile federal emissions warranty, make sure they don't try to charge you for a covered part, they may if you don't ask.

2004 Hyundai Sonata automatic transmission downshifting while at a maintained speed.

I have one that does exactly this. I have confirmed no codes in trans or engine; I have watched the data on the scan tool and it appears that the PCM is choosing to shift without a change in throttle or speed to cause it. I am looking into a new PCM - ouch!

I put a new battery in my 2003 sonata and now the radio doesn't work. How do I get it to work?

If the radio lights up. Reprogram radio due to power failure. Should find instructions in owners manual if it is a factory radio. Otherwise look on line for reprogram instructions.

How do I maintain my 2003 Hyundai sonata for long performance? Is it normal to see water coming from under the car after using the AC

If you don't have an owners manual for the vehicle, I suggest that you pick one up (you can try eBay and your local dealer). Follow the maintenance schedule in the manual, including engine oil changes every 3,000 to 5,000 miles depending on your location and the type of driving you do. A puddle of clear water under the car after running the air conditioner is normal. The unit removes moisture from the air as it cools, condenses it, and releases it through a condensate line located on or near the firewall that separates the engine compartment from the passenger compartment.
