Question about 2003 Renault Sportwagon
Have a very bad shudder and knocking on nearside front drive shaft when on full lock and turning left, when removed all pin bearings loose. changed for a new one, the gear box is new.after replacing today it seemed ok but again on turning left on full lock and accelerating a slight double knock, not as bad but wondering what could be the cause. car is one owner and 57000 in great condition.
any thoughts would be welcome thanks
Hi hope this helps if wishbone bushes are badly worn the outer hub can be forced outwards causing drive shaft to jump out of its knuckle on gearbox an this will also fetch off your new roller bearings
