Why does my 2002 chevy blazer smoke when i turn to left or right real sharp

Actually there was a problem with the alloy rims and tires. They rubbed!! Not sure what smoke or smell, but I would actually check the inside of the front tires and see if they are rubbing.

Try moving the tire to a different position and see if the sound stays with the tire or stays in the right front. Does it do it when braking, accelerating, driving straight all the time? Also - if you get on a long straight stretch of road with no traffic - switch it to neutral and turn the engine off - REMEMBER - you will lose power steering and brakes with the engine off.

Vibration and noise from front end while driving

Jack up the front end and put stands under it and block rear wheels. Look at axle boots and see if they are cracked. Try turning wheel back and forth sharply and see if you can hear any clicking. Problem could be outer axle joints. If the boots are cracked or you hear a clicking noise you will have to replace the axle. The axle and boot come as a complete unit. Please let me know what you find out.
