there are two types that I am aware of .. one gets mixed intothe washer fluid..and is used there..the other is a can under pressure(like paint..)now, you spray this along the top of the window(after shaking well)and let it run down onto the ice and the chemical rection melts the ice after a few minutes..but this also works..take a 1 gallon milk jug and fillit with lukewarm water..and slowly pour it all along the top of each window and let the flow go all the way down the window slowly... this wil be cheaper for you as long as water is available..WARNING DO NOT EVER use HOT water because the exteme temperature change will crack the window!!!!!!
okay now. make sure you have new batteries inthe remotes..saves hassle later.put key in drivers door hold key over to unlock car(.hold over for 30 secs) ,then take key out..the windows may go down all the way then hold ing key over for 30 secs, lock the car the windows will go all the way up.if they bounce bach try again but slowly...you have just reset alarm/locking/windows.the trunk light is on a timer with the interior lightd when you start the car the interior light dim slowly etc...
You can get away with just lubricating the window runners with silicon or graphite. Don't use oil base lubricant, oil breaks down rubber like the ones use on the window runners. I use silicon and with the spray tube from the can, spray it along the window runners on both side. Towards the front and back of the door, Roll down the window and where the glass runs down in to the door is the runners i am talking about and you should be able to spray along there with the tube and just clean the glass from any over spray. Good luck and this should help.
you might try cleaning the window channels where the glass sides in the door frame..with some form of air pressure then coat the runners with 100% silicone spray which will make that glass slide up and down with greater ease
Your window clips that hold the window in have broken. You will need to replace these clips in order to fix it right. The clips you can buy at any audi dealer. Ask for the most updated ones. There have been many updated clips. Audi has been trying to develop better ones for years but they still keep breaking. Its a very common issue. Your window will still go up and down but since the clips broke you will have it bind in the track. To get you by for the time been. Lubricate the window track with some silicon spray. This will help keep it from binding up until you can do the repair.
You can try a dry lube or lithium grease on the slow ones, but it sounds more like you need new window motors. Unfortunately Saturns are plastic cars, and... The window motors are not too difficult to change and it requires removing the outer door panel to make it easier to access.
