The most likely cause of a problem like this are tune up related items, spark plugs, wires, coils etc. If they do a close inspection of these items they will probably find the problem. There are other things that can cause your problem, but the above items are the most likely cause.

I have a 97 Dodge Ram 1500 with a 5/9 in it I put plug wires on it and now it's popping and it lost power and it had a code po302 and Po 307

The P0302 code means that the cylinder 2 is misfiring or is randomly misfiring. Start by checking for intake leaks and if no leaks are found the next step is to replace the spark plugs on cylinder 2. If the problem persist more tests needs to be done. PO307 is the same thing except number 7 cylinder. Possible symptoms - Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light)
- Lack/loss of power
- Hard start
- Engine hesitation

Outlander2004 start but wont fire up

You mean it cranks but won't start ?
If the check engine light is not on when you turn the key on, the engine computer does not have power from a fuse, or the computer has failed.

First Cylinder Misfire

That is because the spark plugs seldom fail to fire

The coil you replaced was not the problem or the only problem

The codes are used to diagnose the system with the fault, not
tell you to replace a part

What car,yr,engine etc & what drivability issues?

Lost reverse suddenly -- Goes in drive but as accelerating doesnt shift - RPM's continue to go up- Engine service light on

Your transmission(the auto gearbox) is very likely low on oil.Check it 1st before you take it to a shop.Hope this helps

What happens when the catalytic converter goes out

YOUR ENGINE STRESSES ALOT AND OVERHEATS BURNS FUEL LIKE CRAZY, DOESNT HAVE POWER, BACK FIRES IF REALLY BAD. DOESNT ACCELRATE. CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON,.. WONT PASS SMOG BUT MOST MAJORLY WILL CAUSE ENGINE DAMAGED IF KEEPED ON RUNNING.

1996 izzuz hombre ... turns over wont start sometimes . sometime does start. when start runs real rough, missing. things i know - new starter, new fuel pump, doesnt fire on 1st spark plug and no one know...

Your problem sounds like the distributor, points and pig tail wire.
I suggest you try changing the distributor / servicing the points and pigtail wire.

The reason why p 1 inst firing is cause it isn't getting any power from the distributor. because of this it has the ripple effect your experiencing.

Check engine light on

THE VERY 1ST THING YOU DO IS HAVE THE SYSTEM FOR THE TROUBLE CODE THAT IS STORED INTO MENORY WHEN THE LIGHT COMES ON, THERE ARE 100'S OF POSSIABLE REASONS SO THE TROUBLE CODE TEST IS VITAL, YOU WILL NEED THE DEALER TO RUN THIS TEST.

Doesnt always start, but lights, radio, AC/heat does come on.

First place to check is the battery. Old ones can push your lights , radio, etc, but the starter is the real load. . Can verify this by using jumper cables to a running vehicle and watch your machine fire right up! The reason mornings are the worst, is the battery has had the most time to discharge, and it is probably cooler outside.
