Question about 1988 Ford Taurus
It sounds like there is a good chance that either your fuel filter is getting clogged or your fuel pump might be worn or faulty. The first thing to do is check the fuel pressure.
If it is OK then you should check to see if it has spark.
I suspect a fuel problem, but it could also be a spark problem.
