I need to replace the alternator iin my 2002 e350 van. can i get to this from the right front wheel well? i have replaced in cars but not in a cramp van. i think it should be stright forward if i can get to the darn thing- soud reasonable? please help!

I have had similar occurrences , this is a heavy duty van with wide front tires, be sure that the tires are properly inflated, if that doesn't change anything, the dealer is right. This van will not steer the same as a car, because of it's size.
I wouldn't attempt to try to change any brakes for the very first time. If needed, have a person who's SUCCESSFULLY done it before and have him explain and watch the procedure first. You can't really learn the process until you've got "Hands on" experience. Good Luck.
