Question about 2001 Dodge Ram 3500 Truck
I have a 01 dodge deisel 2500, my daylights r not working, replaced module still the same, high beam indicator works, emergency brake light works, i use my emergency brake all the time, does this maybe have something to do with it, i know they shut off when the brake is apllied?
I had a similar problem with my 2001 dodge 3500, the first thing I would check is to make sure that you in fact have high beams working when the light switch is turned on. The DR Lights use the high beam element of the headlamp and if they are burnt out then the DR lights won't be working. My problem was that I had no low beam headlights and everything else was working, turns out both low beam elements were burned out at the same time, replaced the bulbs and all was well. If this does not solve the problem then see if you can get a wiring diagram for the vehicle and go from there. It would seem strange that both of my elements burned out at the same time but that is exactly what happened.
hope this helps
