Gas filter or silinoid,
Try check your maff sensor if it is dirty or not working it
Will cause misfires, engine dieing ..mite try Auto zone
For a reout they will tell you if that's the problem.
Hi Herman, Your problem can have many reasons for misfiring. If the misfire has a regular beat it will most likely be caused by defective plugs, plug leads or a defective coil. (Located on top of each plug.) If the misfire is irregular, it could be a defective crankshaft pick up sensor or camshaft pick up sensor. The problem could also be related to the air flow sensor. Your best course of action is to take the vehicle for a diagnostic scan and thereby pin point the problem. Ask the technician to also carry out a fuel pump pressure test and request a new fuel filter be fitted. Your problem is typical of a vehicle that is not serviced on a regular basis. If that sounds as if I'm telling you off so be it. If you look after a vehicle it will give you good service, if not, be prepared for un scheduled roadside pick-nicks. Did you carry the basket with you today? regards John

As a mechanic if fifty years everything hes mentioned is correct. Most people blame the cars its like going to drs most problems are caused by lack of maintence and thinking car is suppose to run forever without changing engine oil and filter every ten thousand kms your engine will last long time.Air filters to filter air going into engine.Fuel filters to filter fuel. The other problems people get the wrong information from different people and also think mechanics are exp.Good mechanics are cheap because they know how systems work. And usually get it right first go.Saving you hundreds most of the time.
