A valve job is when someone (or business) recuts the valves/head to properly seat the valves in the heads to the engine. On a 2007 I really doubt that is necessary. You generally see this done on older cars with higher miles. Now on the same token if its a valve adjustment, then it could be necessary on a newer vehicle once the vehicle is past its "breaking in" period. Hope this gives you some direction. Thanks for using fixya!

Where is the ac expansion valve on a Chrysler 2006 300c 5.7 hemi and how big a job is it to replace it

It's on the inlet to the evaporator coil. YOu'll have to discharge the system, disconnect the low pressure hose and then the valve. Pull a deep vacuum and then recharge. Not really a DIY job is you don't have a vacuum pump and manifold gauge set.

How to replace the head gasket on an 86 FORD BRONCO

A torque wrench to tighten the bolts to spec. Necessary tools to remove the head bolts. A gasket scraper for the rocker cover gasket and the head gasket.. If you have a blown head gasket the chances of a warped head is about 98%, so be prepared to have the head machined flat before reinstalling the head. You might want to do a valve job and replace the valve stem seals since you're going to remove the head. If you decide to do a valve job, you MUST do both heads or the engine will never run good.

How do i remove the valve guides on a 03 suzuki ltz400?

This is a job the requires specialist tools to remove and set the new guides to the exact position in the head. Remove the head if you can, to save money but take the head to an engineering shop/ engine reconditioning shop and have the job done properly. It will be necessary to have the valve seats re-machined to properly align the valves to the seats for a proper job.

Valve job for 2000 VW Jetta GL w/105,000 miles

is he sure it isn't the rings are worn also?  If so don't waste money on a valve job, when you really need a rebuilt motor.  Had you changed the oil more you wouldn't need this repair at this time.  Good uck as his price is decent.  Ask him the price for a long block?
