Question about Infiniti FX45
Locate the oil pan. on it will be a bolt that ull need to undo witha wrench or socket. have a drain pan under and try not to drop the bolt in to the pan cause the oil should come out pretty fast. while thats draining i like to pull the cap off for the oil filler on the top of the engine.
once that is done draining if u are to replace the oil filter which i always do every oil change. locate it. and remove it also with the drain bucket underneath. because it will be full of oil., before putting a new oil filter in take one of the new quarts crack it open and pour a small amount into the cap. take ur finger and stick it in it and lube the rubber ring on the new filter. helps seal and prevent it from seizing. once that is in. put the drain plug back in tighten it down and fill up the oil to the specs.
