Question about 1988 Jeep Wrangler

BLINKERS ON 2004 JEEP WRANGLER NOT WORKING PROPERLY

FRONT LEFT BLINKER BLINK FAST, REAR DOESNT WORK. Front right blinker lights up but doesnt blink rear doesn't work and if headlights are on and try and use the right blinker it looks as if the hazard lights are on and the interior lights also blink. What might be the problem?

    1st thing to do is replace the rear bulb, if u did that then there is a possiablity that the bulb socket is no good or the bulb was installed incorrectly.

The problem could be the wiring connecting to the lights, you need to check them for bare wires. Look them through for any metal hanging out of the rubber insulation. You may need to get new wiring.

What would cause the blinker to blink very fast and the left rear blinker doesn't work.


You obviously have a bad connection somewhere in the taillight. Some trucks it is a common problem and the taillight circuit board is the problem.

Left blinker blinks faster than the right. which the back left blinker does not work and front left blinks really fast.Right blinker works normal?


Flasher relays relies on bulb wattage for the speed of the blink.
You probably just have a blown bulb in the left rear blinker.:)

check all bulbs,inspect sockets for corrosion,rust ,or sighns of overload.follow wires and check connectors if all good ,replace the flasher ,,if that doesnt fix it ,the blinker switch in the steering coulmn would be next

Right Side blinker


It has a bad bulb. Find the bad bulb to fix this issue.

My truck lights


check and replace the bulb in the rear left light, the fast blink is normal when the front or rear bulb is out, the brake light not working indicates which one is out
