Light for odometer/compass/outside temp doesn't work

The light doesn't illuminate for the odometer on my f150 supercab. The aux 12v-ac receptacle also does not work. Is this a fuse? If so, which one?

My odometer/compass/outside temp. light doesn't work most of the time. Sometimes when the vehicle is in cold weather it will work.

I have a 2005 F150 SC and the aux outlets and compass/odometer light does not work. I changed a burned out fuse and was able to get my outlets to work again, however, the odometer light is still inop. The digital display works, just the light does not come on, so at night I am unable to read.

I posted previously about having the same problem with the odometer light being out. I must of had a loose connection somewhere, I hit the right side of the dash on top and the light came back on. My intent was to see if I could see any of the other lights flicker or maybe hear anything that might be loose before I ventured into taking the dash apart since I had already checked every fuse. Well the hit did the trick and the light came back on. I am guessing there still may be an underlying problem that caused the light to go out in the first place. Not a recommended fix, but it worked for me.

It could very well be a fuse or the relay the fuse box is usually located under the dash on the driver side and the relay box is usually under the hood on the drivers side or near the front each will have a cover that will tell you what goes to what and if you have an owners manual check in there also under fuses and relays and it can also tell you which is for what

Do the map lights in the overhead console / Illuminated vanity lights work?

This is the same fuse, Cab fuse panel fuse #23 ( hot in run position ).

If the map lights & vanity mirrors on the visors work correctly, it is the solid state module in the overhead console that is the problem ( have seen this, more common on SuperDuty line ).\

The overhead outdoor temperature Gage reads 25-75 degrees below actual temperature I have tried resting the compass and disconnected the battery for fiver minutes. Where is the outside temperature sensor...

The outdoor temp sensor is just inside the grill when you opent the hood. The part cost around $76 and kind of looks like a electrical plug receptacle. There are little clips holding the old one in that need to be held apart to dislodge it, slip the new one in, and you're done. Took about 5 minutes.

Good luck!
