Yes, the middle range is normal. You only need to worry if it stays at the bottom, or goes into the top 1/3d of the gauge.

Why is clamate control on 2006 wingroad ultra sensitive?

This can be caused by a bad controls or bad blend door motor, the door motor and controller will need to be tested to see which is causing the problem,

when you say temp fluctuates what happens? are you using the a/c and you turn temp down one click and it goes to hot ?
Is the temp going from hot to cold hot to cold as you drive?

2006 charger 3.5 wont come up to operating temp

Check to see if a thermostat has been fitted. Follow the top radiator hose to the engine and it is normally housed within the housing attatched to the hose.

2002 dodge stratus temperature gauge is fluctuating

its possible that you have a head gasket starting to go bad and driving it at a higher speed the engine gets hotter and can force combustion chamber gasses into the cooling system causing a higher temp showing up on the gauge.you can get a block test down that hopefully show it up depending how early in the stage the gasket has deteriated.sound this as a diagnostic sign back in the early 80`s.

I have seen the coil on plug units in these vehicles when they start to go bad they can cause some crazy things like the temp gauge going to full hot and then back to normal and other things like that. it is hard to tell which coil with out the vehicle in front of me sorry i cant give you more info than that.

When should I be alarmed with my temperature gauge, and where it sits on my 06 charger 2.7 liter

you temp in park should be right around 212, to properly check the temp you need to have it in reverse, but you can also have it in drive but reverse its the proper way, when in reverse it should read about 167ish give or take 5 degrees

I have a 1997 dodge 1500 318 it runs for tempeture around 230 degrees wich seems hot to me but yet it maintains that heat temp

gauge could be off a little test with thermometer , remove cap and warm vehicle, do not drop thermostat in radiator check to see gauge vs. thermometer.
