If it is not running on all cylinders you need to check the coil packs and if your battery is not good this will not produce the electrcal output to really check you car out

Stalling hesitation

I've seen a lot on vehicles with stopped up catalytic converters, will run smooth at idle but will barely move when put in gear to go. To check without a shop fee try drilling a hole the exhaust pipe in front of the converter then try to dive if it runs smoother in gear you know its a converter problem

99 ford explorer hesitates when put in gear

I think you should check the fluid level in the trans since your on a flat spot it sounds like the the pick up tube can't get the fluid in it because the level is low inside so always check on level ground and check it while it's warmed up and engine running in park and I think you'll find the fluid level is low fill it up and park it with card board under it to check for a leak good luck Stephen

2005 FORD EXPLORER DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES 9318, 9352. battery, alternator and starter were checked. these codes show on my message center. car hesitates to start WHAT IS MY POSSSIBLE TROUBLE? car died...

This really sounds like a problem with your battery. I know you said you checked it, but is it really putting out the appropriate voltage (12.66 volts) and CCAs? Even draining the battery once can damage it (especially in cold weather), and cold weather reduces the CCAs a battery can put out. A weak battery can cause those codes. When the vehicle hesitates to start, does that typically happen on colder mornings or after the car sat for longer periods of time? I would double-check your battery. If it's the original, it's near its end of life anyway.

Run a bottle of Redline fuel system treatment through with a tank of gas...don't get any of the cheap ****...The Redline is like $8 and change at my local's the bomb. They have it on line if you can't find it's really good **** me! Next time you let you car sit...put some Sta-Bil fuel stablizer in the tank...they have it for ethanol gas's the bottle with the yellow label. Ethanol gas breaks down to varnish in just 45 gotta treat it if it you don't run it through the motor before 45 days. I run a bottle of the Redline fuel system treatment every 3 months. My 2001 Pathfinder has 115,000 miles and runs great!

99ford explorer stalls at Idle

Have you checked the fuel filter recently? It should be changed every 20k miles or so. It is very cheap to replace if you have the disconnect tool for the lines. Also try an injector cleaner that you put inside your tank. This should rectify the problem. Hope this helps. Let me know. Good luck. Thanks for using FIX-YA. P.S. if you had a code for the o2 sensors then I would have directed you to replace them.

My 2005 ford five hundred is hesitating when you put it in drive, and the repair light comes on. Stops when you turn it off and restart it.

it sounds like a link slipping in your gear box but you should put a bit more detail in this problem for it can be a lot of things causing this..

good luck...
