1. Remove key from ignition.
2. Remove the “BCM PRGRM” fuse from the fuse panel, accessed by opening the front passenger
door. Use the legend on the fuse panel to properly locate the “BCMPRGRM” fuse.

3. Close all of the doors.

4. Close the liftgate.
5. Insert keys into the ignition, and turn the ignition lock cylinder to ACC (one click towards you –
the opposite direction from starting the engine).

6. Turn the ignition lock cylinder to OFF, and then back to ACC within 1 second.
7. Open and close any vehicle door. A chime will be heard when the system enters the programming
mode.

8. Press and hold the transmitter LOCK and UNLOCK buttons simultaneously for 14 seconds.
IMPORTANT: After 7 seconds, a chime may be heard confirming successful synchronization. It
is necessary to wait approximately 14 seconds for a second chime that will confirm successful
programming. Your new remote has been accepted and all existing remote codes have been
erased.

9.
Repeat the previous step on each additional transmitter to be programmed (including any existing
transmitters).

10. Remove the ignition key from the ignition lock cylinder.
11. Install the “BCM PRGRM” fuse back into the fuse panel.

I want to un program my keyless entry remote on my 2000 chevy so that i can program it to my 2004 chevy truck how do i do that

Do you still have both cars? If not, you don't have to un-program the remote to use it on another car.

If so, then simply reprogram the remotes you want to use on the 2000 chevy and then when you are done only the ones u just programmed will work on it, then simply repeat the process on the 2004 chevy truck.

Have a 2004 Chevy Venture van with faulty power door locks. They will lock with the switch but will not unlock with the switch. Need schematics of the power door lock system. Thanks.

I don't have a solution, but a related problem. Our 2004 Chevy Venture power door locks are cycling (locking/unlocking) on their own while we are driving. This coincides with our remote keyless entry losing its effectiveness. I tried replacing the battery on the remote, but to no avail.

Programming keyless entry key fob for 2000 chevy

you need to call the nearest chevy dealer with you vin, and get the part number from them, there are 2 numbers on the back of the remote, see if they match what the dealer tells you. Have an automotive locksmith program, should cost about 75.00 to do.

Alarm goes off when key open the door

Dealer is correct that you have too replace the bcm, so i would tell you to call junk yard and get one. Cheap $ 50.00 put it in by yourself. Right hand side of the glove compartment. behind the fuse box with couple connectors on it, or have some person with knowledge to do it.
