Chech enige light on trac off vcs all these are on

My check engine, trac and vsc lights all came on. I disconnected the battery for 15 sec to reset the computer. The lights came back on however. I recommend you get a parts store or shop to read the code as this light sequence can indicate several different problems. I have a code reader so I plugged it in and it shows code # P0138. This code indicates a defective oxygen sensor #2 (the one past the cat converter). Most part stores can get this assy but you have to do some wire cutting to install it. The dealer charges about 70$ more but it probably is a direct replacement. I looked under the car and it's easy to get to but the cable goes into the inside of the car thru the floor. I'm now trying to get a blowup of the interior so I can remove and replace the whole assembly. Hope this helps. Good luck.

I had the same lights turned on in my vehicle. I took my car to the dealer since it was still under warranty. The code that they got was p00012 and they replaced Normal 0 CAM TIMING GEAR. It took them 3 days to replace this part since they needed to special order it. Like the previous comment says, have it scan before replacing parts.

Sounds like the problem has been resolved. Clear the codes and see what happens. BTW, you will need to pull the plenum completely off the engine in order to service the rear plugs. I would wait until one of the rear coils fails, and one will, and then take care of the coils and plugs at the same time.

My VCS trac and VCS OFF light is on.. is it ok to drive

Probably yes, just keep in mind that those systems are disabled while the lights are on, you have no traction or skid control, I would recommend having the toyota dealer scan the system to see what the trouble codes are, Toyota has issued several sevice bulletins for these lights being on and there may be a special sevice campaign open that would apply to your vehicle, if so you may get this taken care of at no charge to you.

Replaced bank 1 sensor 1 O2 sensor with an OE

Those lights indicate an issue with ABS or traction control systems. In order to properly diagnose the problem the vehicle's codes will need to be read with a scanner.

Generally speaking there is no danger in driving the vehicle but be aware you may not have functioning traction control and/or ABS while those lights are present.

try disconnecting the battery at the negative terminal for about a minute and reconnect if the codes were set from the dead battery the lights will not come back on, if they come back on you will have to get the vehicle looked at.

Occasionally VCS and Brake warning lights come on

I also have a 2002 Sequoia, mine with 100,00o miles and replaced breaks in the spring. My VCS and brake lights also were coming on, and baffled as to why. Someone told me to have my break fluid checked, I did and it was low, once they filled it and moved my car the break light went out but the VCS lights were still on, part problem solved. I ran a quick errand turned my truck off, when I returned and turned it on the lights were off. I am hoping that by putting the brake fluid in , solved my problem, so far so good. Hope this helps you as it did me.

2007 toyota camry

The VCS (Variable Trac Control System) might've been disengaged by the computer, meaning it is actually not working at the time, and needs to be reseted at TOYOTA. You may still drive your vehicle like usual, but in caase of a skid or hydroplaning, the VCS will not engage, and probably resulting in a oversteer, and, may forbid, an accident. So you might wanna go ASAP to get that verified by TOYOTA.
