I have an 1988 ford E-150 and the blower motor doesn't work

I checked the fuses and they are all working. I also checked power to the high low switch and there is no power. so my question is. Does this van have a relay and if it does where.

The heater blower motor stopped working on my 95 suzuki sidekick.

if it dont blow on high , it can only be 3 things. (wires are always suspect and conn.. in all electrics.)
1: blown fuse.
2: bad switch (see link, below for how to fix THIS switch.)
3: bad blower motor.
there are 2 ways to find it, not guessing...
A: use a voltmeter, Got 12vdc to motor on fan?
no ? then got 12vdc into switch? yes, then switch is blown
B: hot wire fan, work now, yes, motor good.

see no heat page'

see it here. the 25amp fuse, fan draws about 15amps

most cars call this blower. (new cars have up to 5 fans)

these Suz, dont have spare switches now, for many older year cars.
see list above for p/n of the ones they do, this is one of the hardest
parts to source on zuk and some have CAMI switches and others have Japan real . (production options..)

Heat doesnt work

Fan works but heater dont. Than take one of your heater hoses off and see if you have water in it, make sure there is no rust. If water in the hose than look at your water pump or thermostat.

Ac/heater fan doesn't work

According to my wiring diagram, the blue and white wire from the blower motor gets power from the key switch. The fan switch and resistor grounds the motor.
No blower fuse is listed.

Heater doesnt blow any hot air

Lots of things could be "the problem". First, is the fan turning? Is the heater core on the passenger side under the dashboard getting hot? Are the heater hoses connecting to it BOTH getting hot? Is the on/off valve switch opening and closing as you slide it on the dashboard? If any one of these things are not happening you need to find out why!

My blower motor on my 2006 Sentra went out. Do I have to evacuate my A/C to replace this motor?

You mean the fan in the car? No you dont. It just blows air through the heater / cooler core.
Its very unlikely to be the fan itself. If its not blowing then check the fuses first.

There is also a voltage ballast which controls the different speeds. This is usually located in the airflow from the fan to keep it cool, and is about $15. Usually one speed still work if this goes out. High should work. [Look under the dash of passenger side in the air flow ducting, maybe behind the glove box. Look for a connector block with 3-4 wires comming out, held in by 2-3 screws. Dont run it outside the air flow, it may burn out real quick.]

Last, there may be a relay under the hood in the elec distribution box.

The blower and fan work on my 1998 Jaguar xk8, but no heat. What could be the problem?

3 possibilties(1) Bad secondary water pump motor. Its located on left side inner fender by firewall under hood. The pump looking thing with 2 heater hoses and 1 cable connection (2) heater valve near secondary pump, 4 hoses 1 electrical connection.Power on to shut water off to heater. (3) blocked heater core.

I changed the thermostat, radiator, fan switch, temp. sensors. upper hose is hot, lower is cold, fans dont turn on, temp guage doesnt move, no heat in cabin, no leaks, and truck idles fine.1996 rav4 need...

Good Evening, you are doing all the right things. However have you tried flushing the heater core, most times the heater core itself can have some build up inside and you get no heat in the cabin. The first thing to do is to check the heater hoses if one is hot and the other is not then I would look there. Second I would also check inside at your blend door and see if it is switching over when you move it from cold to heat. Those would be the places to start. Hope this helps.

Blower on the heater/AC not working on 1998 Escort, checked fuse under dash?

Ok, first off, check the fuses under the dash. If they're all good, does the blower work only on high speed? If yes, then you have a bad blower motor resistor, which is located under the hood, near the blower motor itself. If the motor doesnt work at all at any fan speed, make sure the wiring harness that plugs into the motor under the hood is clean and tightly installed. If it still doesnt operate, sometimes tapping on the blower motor housing will kick it on, but if that doesnt work, you may have to replace the blower motor. They are available aftermarket, and arent usually too expensive.

2002 dodge grand caravan heater blower only works on high spped

If you are looking for the fan blower resistor, it is located behind the glove box. No tools need to get to it and a nut driver to remove the 2 screws to replace it. A 20$ part.

Heater worked on high only now not at all

the resister block for the fan went. look under the dash on the duct work near the fan for an electrical fitting that goes into the duct work... should be two or three screws holding it in... remove the part and replace it...... perhaps unhook the battery first.
