Question about 1997 Dodge Ram 3500 Club Cab
1997 Dodge 3500
Would appear that I have a global vacuum problem relating to the Heat control.
The electrical system like the - fan on and off - still functions normally.
I looked at the manual and it talked about a vacuum check valve that is somewhere between the manifold and the control unit.
First - would this be where I am checking first? and if so I can't locate it??
On the floor in the center of the seat, it will say SRS and there is a panal. There is a vacuum operated motor there. Look under and see if it is moving when you change the operation of the control. If it does move, then the linkage in that box came unhooked. I had the same problem but it was stuck on the floor so I always had hot or cold feet. Try that.
