Question about 2001 Ford Focus

How do you get the rear light cover off a 05 Ford Focus ZX3?

I need to get the rear light cover off my Focus hatchback to change the turn signal/brake light. I took off the wing nut from the back and also the screw beside the cover like my manual said. But it still feels like something is holding it on some where near the top of the light cover.

Is there a trick to getting to the rear turn signal on a 2003 ford focus hatchback. I had removed the screw to the lens cover but I still cannot gain access to the turn signal bulb to replace it.

Replacing tail/brake/backup lights and turn signal bulbs (coupe)

1. Make sure the headlamp control

is in the OFF position and then

open the hatchback.

2. From inside the luggage

compartment remove the wing nut

of the rear light assembly cover.

3. Using a Phillips screw driver

remove the screw. The lamp is still

retained by a spring loaded clip.

Remove by gently pulling out the

light housing.

4. Turn the bulb socket counterclockwise as far as possible and pull it

out.

5. Pull the bulb straight out of the socket.

Install in reverse order.

the outside.

Whats the fuse to change in a ford focus zx3 hatchback year 2000 for the change engine light

when i was working in my local ford dealership the only way we were able to remove that light was to access the vehicles ECU and delete the trouble codes that were on there. provided there is no actual problems with your vehicle clearing the codes should solve the problem. if there is more to it then the codes will reapear and bring that light back up.
Generally your local mechanic or ford dealership will have the scan tool required to remove the codes
i hope i have helped

Ford Focus 2006 ZX3 How do I replace the rear blinkers bulb

I know this might be a dumb question but, do you have the manual? The Focus owner's manual contains information on how to replace various secondary outside and interior lights.
When you open the hatchback look behind where the light is and you will see a small hole. Unscrew the screw that it is there. You also need to unscrew another screw that is beside the light on the outside (top right). Then you just pull the whole light assembly off the car. Next disconnect the wire from the back of the light bulb assembly. Next, twist the light bulb assemble and pull it out. You now have access to the bulb. Hope that helps.

Rear turn signal

You have to get into the trunk (zx4, zx5, zxw ) or hatch on the zx3. behind the taillight there will be a couple of screws/wingnuts that you have to unscrew and then the tail light assembly comes off. From there you will be able to change the bulb. Good luck.
