The main problems with newer car not getting fire is the crank position sensor its located behind the pulleys on the crank shaft or mounted on the block . when they get old they will lose connection on the inside causing them to fail . it should have has a 2 wire plug-in

2000 kia sephia cranks but engine wont run

The fuel pump may have died. Can you hear it turn on briefly, by turning the key to "on"? You may have to stand by the gas tank while someone turns the key to on. It should turn on for about 2 seconds and then stop, after pressurizing the fuel system. If you don't hear it, then check the fuel pump fuse. If the fuse is good, and the pump won't run, one needs to check that the fuel pump wire at the tank connector has battery voltage on it when the engine is cranking-then, you can assume the pump needs replacing.
If the pump is working and you have gas up to the engine, you would next check the ignition system. Start that by checking for spark on one of the spark plug wires.

CAR STOPPED IN TRAFFIC ENGINE WILL TURN OVER BUT THE CAR WON'T START. WHY?

a car can stop for many reasons if the timng belt breakes you loose compresson if the spark stop it will die if the fuel pump quits you loose fuel just take gas cap off and have somone turn key on without cranking and listen for fuel pump if you dont hear it check the entire system before replaceing any parts also you can make a spark tester wth a spark plug and check for spark at a plug wire or coil on plug ths is how mechanics do it.

95 grand prix died at a stop sign. It is trying to turn over but will not start. The gas tank is full. May be fuel pump?

see if you have spark at plug from plug wire.
these gm cars have a problem with the ignition module under the distributor cap and rotor button.
when they fail, car dies suddenly and will not restart.fairly easy to replace and not to expensive.
