no inertia switch or fuel switch--fuses or relays ---to test the fuel pump easiest is to spray starter fluid if it fires you have a fuel problem if doesn't fire look into ignition [ spark]

My car wont start. cranks but doesnt start

There are a few things that you didn't mention. Can you tell me if your car has "Anti-theft"? Your car also has a component called a Main Relay and another component called an Ignition Control Module. Any one of these can cause your symptoms. I hope this answers you question. If you need further information or instructions, write back. I hope to hear how your repair is going, good luck.

I was driving down the road and it just died and now it will not start

Check fuel pump fuse and then fuel pump relay if both are ok the fuel pump is bad. Make sure you check the power wire to the fuel pump for proper volts before you replace the pump.

No fuel pump

Though it should not happen, it can happen...First, check to see if you have power at the pump harness. If not, check the pump relay in the power distribution center near the battery, and any attending fuses there and in cabin fuse panel. They can be tested with a test light by probing the back of each end of the fuse itself with a test light without removal. If you are missing a chart, check them all...it takes about ten minutes. Also check auto shutdown relay. Depending upon what you find we may not be finished yet, but this will get you started on testing.

Fuel pump fuse, relay, or actual fuel pump, can you hear it run when you turn the switch to run if so then check your fuel filter.
Hope this helps!
