Question about 1992 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera
I checked all the relays that were under the hood in front. Everytime I shorted E to A of each relay, something came on which was not the fan. I let the car run in park, I turn the ac and heater on. The temp goes over 220, fan doe not come on. I had changed the thermostant. The rediator gets hot. Looks like water follows from the engine to the rediator, because the hose that connect the engine to the radiator feels the same heat everywhere. I have checked all the fuses. I have no bad fuse. I need to find out where the relay for the fan is. As I said, none of the relays in front under the hood looks like belongs to the fan. They all turn something on when simulated by shorting E to A, but not the fan.
Any help will be appriciated. The car is V6 3300 engine.
Thanks a lot for your help
A similar thing happened to my olds which was a 92 2.5, so im not exactly sure if this will help, but just make sure none of you relays melted, because thats what happened to mine and my fan wouldnt go on, therefore overheating my car
