While driving my Hyundai Tucson on the freeway, at the end of a long trip, the car suddenly began to lose power. there was no excelleration and my RPMs began to drop. No gauges or lights came on.. I pulled off the freeway and stopped.. after turning the car back on and driving it around on city streets for a bit, it began to run normally.. It's been running normally since.. Any idea on what the problem might have been???

I have a Hyundai Tucson 2008, suddenly today it started to lose power and then had no power at all did not even want to start

Try checking the fuel pump. Usually, those go bad even on new cars. If that's not the case, try pulling fuses and relays for the fuel system and ignition system and replacing them. even a fuse can disable a car.

2004 Hyundai Santa Fe loses exceleration

This is usually caused by failure of the accelerator pedal position sensor, but can also be caused by the throttle control motor. I would test the sensor first. If it fails, replace it. If it passes, che k the wiring and connectors for continuity to the pcm and throttle. If wiring is good, replace the throttle controller.

Have 2005 hyundai tucson... has 61k miles. Been good car, no problems in past with auto. It suddenly began sputtering bad. I thought it was bad gas, put premium fuel in with no help.

If you can siphon and gas and put in a glass container like a small glass...let it set for a few minutes and if it is bad gas it will separate but only do this if you really think that is what it is. Use a siphon bought from a parts store and not to put in your mouth. If it separates you have 2 options...1 drain the tank which can be dangerous and 2 get a few bottles of water remover from the same parts store that you bought the siphon.
