Heater blower quit

My 2003 T&C Limited.. I changed the fuse and relay. It may be the resistor, how do I change that?

does the fan work without the heat? if yes then u may need a new heater core which is usually located behind the glovebox not easy job but pretty expensive to have done in garage if no you may need new fan

Make sure that you know whether you have automatic climate control or not, as with ACC you have a power module and not the simpler resistor to deal with. In either case, you need to pull the glove box out of the dash. I believe there are several screws that come out and then you may need to press on the left side to make the box come all of the way out of the dash. It's pretty flexible so don't worry about cracking it. Unhook the catch on the left side before you try to pull the box out.

Back up in the area above the foot well is an electrical connector held by two screws.
Before you take the screws out, unhook the electrical connector by sliding the red tab and then giving a gentle tug. Remove the screws and pull the resistor / power module out. Hopefully you can do this and leave things apart since my local dealer didn't have the resistor in stock when I replaced my rear one 2 weeks ago and needed 2 days to get mine in. The part (resistor) is about $20 - $25 and the new one goes in as easily as the old one came out.

If you need to drive the vehicle and are certain that it is the resistor, I would order it and then pull/replace it in one session. I knew I had a bad resistor when my fan would only blow on one speed. If your fan won't blow at all, you still run the risk that the motor is bad and may need to pull it and have it checked.

Front blower motor quit working replaced ignition switch, control module, resister, and blower motor but still doesnt work fuses are all good where do i look next

normally it is the resistor,( relay) then resistor module then motor.
did you test the relay(I believe located under hood, relay/fuse center), If OK check plugs and wires for melting, damage and good connection, grounds should also be checked. Use a volt ohm meter to see if you are getting any power ti motor, etc.

Heater blower motor quit...need to find ground for resistor

I suggest you find your fuse/ relay center check fuses and try new relay, I think the relay is 75% at fault most of the time.
Blazerk from Altima forum suggest
Back probe the blower motor Blue/Yellow circuit and tap it to ground, if that doesn't make the blower operate, the blower motor/power transistor assembly is bad. When the blower motor does operate while grounding that circuit, the climate control panel may be faulty, repeat the test from the connector at the control panel to verify the wiring is not damaged. Also, When verifying voltage, Use the power and ground wires to the blower motor. Other grounds may give you faulty readings.

My blower motor quit working changed blower and now it runs all the time even with key off worked fine before blower went out the fuse had also blown what could cause it to run all the time now

Most would say it is the Blower Motor Resistor or a relay..And possibly the dash heater control knob..However it is running all the time even with key off..This means it is getting power all the time from somewhere..It sounds as if wiring is crossed..Did you have to change wiring plug in connectors..?..

2003 bick lesabre blower not working, changed both blower and resistor and fuses. Worked for a few days then quit.

Did you carefully clean out all the debris from the heater box? Did your new blower come with a new fan unit, or re-use the old one? Can you hear the motor run but not blow? These fans are fragile when old, and sometime break right where they attach, thus no blow. If not running, check for current at motor, then resistor, then fuse. Only thing left is the switch.

Heater fan stopped working

The fan will not quit completely if it is the resister, Did you check if a fuse is Blowin? Or the relay is defective, The blower motor could be shot , They don,t last for ever,. If resister is bad one of the speeds for the fan mostly quits working,
