SOURCE: stalls out and putters when idle

i had a similar problem , check the tube that runs from the PVC fitting located to the right side of the header, then it goes straight back, to the left under the intake, you can't really see most of it but from under the car, mine was messed up had to fix it.

i ran into this with my focus. It turned out to be a loose connection on the crank sensor. It started right after i changed the serpentine.

First we need to ascertain the problem. When the vehicle stalls, does it start up immediately? Does it blow smoke out the exhaust on restart? Before it stalls, does it chug and sputter or act like you turned the key off? ALso, which engine and transmission have yoou in this truck?

change the fuel filter. and clean the mass air flow sensor usein a can of carb cleaner from any parts shop. depending on the miles on your car the timing belt mit have jumped a tooth. have to change it every 120.000 km.

Get yourself a compression tester and remove all spark plugs and proceed to check the compression for this motor the readings should all be above 110 psi, the car may have jumped a tooth on the timing belt and requires a new belt to be installed.
