They are not LED but tiny "back light" display illumination bulbs, they are soldered on the radio circuit board and best left to repair shop to replace as you can ruin the radio if you don't know what you are doing and overheat the boards.

Radio LED does not light, can only see the radio display during the day , radio works fine except for that one problem

Many of these newer type LED's are actually backlit by a tiny bulb. this bulb is available at the dealership only, and , installation is very affordable. However, there are still "true" LED's around and once they fail, that is it. You can only replace the face/radio. Call your local dealer and inquire as to which type yuo have. Thank you, Dana

Replace radio led display

the radio doesn't have a LED, it is a LCD, LCD display's have no light of there own, LED's do, the problem u have here is that the tiny bulb inside the radio behind the display is burned out, you need to pull the radio out and remove the top cover of the radio, right behind the display you will find a tiny twist in bulb socket, remove it and replace the bulb.
