Question about 2005 Mitsubishi Lancer
Problem with build up of condensation on the windows, have been back to dealership who said I need to run with climate control on all the time.
Tried this but have a band about 3/4 inch up each front window that blocks out the rear view mirrors, I bought an anti fog gel to try, again a waste of money. I feel there is a draft coming from the centre consul could this be the cause of the condensation?.
Anyone else got the same or similar problem? anyone got a cure? its driving me nuts.
Thanks for your help
Condensation is caused by the difference in temp from internal to external of ur car. Be aware of the engine temps & where your temp slider or environment control is set. If the is a draft coming from the centre console try changing to recirc mode on the fan setup as this eliminates air from external flowing through your car. If the draft persist I would go for a drive to cause the draft & find out exactly where it is comin from. Remember to keep it simple & check for broken vents or similar.
Enjoy & good luck!
