I have the same jeep and if the thermostat has been taken out then you will not have any heat,so before u tear apart the dash check for a thermostat,

Go to heatertreater.net. It's easy to do and fixed the problem. $130 well worth it.

The blend door has probably broken. if you have no experience pull a dash this isnt a dash to start with...it has several hidden bolts
