Question about 1995 Ford Explorer
My heater a/c blend door seems to have broken. What would be the best way to change it .Are there diagrams that would assist me with this change . I know the dash has to come out but i dont know where to start.Any help would be greatly appreciated.
There are extensive diagrams in the Ford manuals for this, you may be able to convince a local dealer to let you borrow or photocopy the sections you need. The air conditioning gas will need to be recovered by a HVAC tech before disconnecting the pipes (and regassed again after reassembly), in most countries it is illegal to vent the gas to the atmosphere by just undoing the pipes. Dash removal is a pretty major job on these vehicles, you might want to read the manual thoroughly and decide whether it's something you feel comfortable tackling yourself.
Hope this helps, Mark.
