How to recharge battery on 2004 New Beetle

Remove the GROUND clamp and use a battery charger on low 2amp setting if battery dead. If partially charged, use 10amp setting. Allow 5 hours minimum to charge.

Static voltage when fully charged will be 12.65 vdc.

Battery is in front of car under a black plastic cover by the left inner fender.

2000 VW Beetle: Need info on replacing front bumper cover. How to explanation

to take off the front bumper the fenders must come off as well. they are attached to each other and then bolted to the car. From what i remember there were like 90 screws to take off. so basically remove the headlight and the turn signals. then remove about 90 torx screws and pull the hole thing off. thene remove the fenders from the bumper, put them on your new bumper and mount them in reverse order!

How do I replace the right front fender on my 2000 VW Beetle? It's cracked and I found a replacement. I know that the front part of the car needs to come off first, then the fender.

Need to remove the inside wheel liner to reveal all 13mm securing bolts. The front bumper needs to be the first part removed. It easy so don't fear easily. TIP: If you have a pressure washer, wash down the areas clean with simple green, it would be less trauma working on it. I do that even if it's a simple oil change, less cosmolyn (rust proofing) to deal with.
