Question about 1988 Chevrolet K1500
I installed a new clutch and it wont go in gear but if you turn the truck off and put in first and then start the truck it will go. But if you take it out of first to shift you can't get it in to gear had the flywheel turn could it slave? But i didn't open system to the slave need help?
Well I can tell you this that the clutch has to much free play, I would check the slave cylinder for proper operation, but if it is defective the slave and mater are better replaced as a pair.
