You need to check the fuse because it is likely that it overloaded during the jump

Hyundai tiburon 2005 factory radio not working? Power issue maybe?

If the radio was on when you jump started car you may have overloaded display, and the radio as a whole may have suffered. You may need to replace the radio. Sorry can't be more help.

I need to know if the shift motor wiring runs through the radio harness. The radio was ripped out and now the 4x4 wont shift . I checked the shift motor and it still works fine, just not at the switch.

is it possible that the switch is not plugged in all the way,? i know this is a stupid question, but you said the radio was ripped out as maybe stolen, now the other day i pulled the radio out of mine as the display stopped illuminating and the same thing happened. the 4x4 switch worked fine before, i started to look around wiggle things when the plug fell onto my hand, i plugged it in and it started to work again,ok fixed! next day, now the 4hi and 4lo lights flash three times and stop then a few min later flash three times and stop, and wont switch into 4x4 lo or hi stuck in auto 4x4

Problem with entering anti-theft radio code for Honda Fit: The radio screen says: "Enter Code:" I enter the confirmed correct code, but when doing so when the actual code (all numbers) turn into letters or...

when you use the "preset keys" (the keys on the radio with numbers on them) to enter the code, each time you press a code number, a letter appears [c, o, d, e]. once the word is spelled out, from entering the correct 5 digits, the radio is reset, ready to go.

BUT if you miss a number, enter a wrong number, whatever, each number pressed, still makes a letter appear from the word "code". once the word is spelled out, by entering ANY 5 numbers, if ANY of the 5 is wrong, the radio displays a message "Error" and then a number 1 thru 10.

When you see the word "Error..."

the next preset button you push, starts the whole thing over again. The radio says "Enter code". That is when you enter the 1st of the 5 digits, the letter C appears, enter the next digit, the letter O appears, enter the next digit, the letter D appears, enter the last digit, the letter E apperas, the radio is reset, ready to go, if you got the 5 correct numbers entered.

you have 10 chances to enter the right 5 digit code. Each wrong try of 5 digits yeilds a display of "Error 1", "Error 2", "Error 3", etc 'till you get to 10 incorrect tries of 5 digits each.

If you dont get it right in 10 tries, you have to leave the radio "on" for an hour, then it will let you start the 10 tries over again.

Good luck!

Radio does not work.

what you need is the radio code to get rid of the error code just disconnect both battery cables touch them together for approx. 30 seconds reconnect cables turn on the radio it should read code there might be a credit card size card in the glove box with the radio code if not look for a sticker in the glove box this is your radio code if not then the radio has to be removed to get the radio seial# then call a honda dealer up give them this number and they can look it up or if your bought the car new call that dealer up they should have this in their history

2005 Honda accord radio code

I have a 2005 accord, and this worked for me.

1)Turn on engine w/ radio off. Push and hold down buttons 1, 6, and power.
2)I got the letter "U" followed by 4 numbers and then letter "L" followed by 4 numbers; write down those numbers.
3) Go to Honda.com
4)Click on Owners home link.
5)On that page you should see an option for retrieving radio codes for honda/acura
6)you will need to enter Vin#, home phone number and zip code fo the original owner. This will then give you the radio code..
