The best thing you can do if you're going to do it yourself, is to go to a autoparts store and get a haynes repair manual $18, it'll show you step by step instructions. good luck. it's to difficult to tell you over internet.

The PGM Main relay is outboard of the glove box. You can see it if you get the glove box out of the way, but to remove it, you need to pop the triangular shaped plastic trim off of the end of the passenger side of your dash. The relay is held in place with one 10mm bolt and the electrical connector.

SOURCE: where is the fuel pump fuse located on 1994 Honda

Fuel pump is in the tank, there may be an access panel under the back seat area. One thing to check is the Main Relay. Ususally up under the dash, Left Dash area, I dont have a diagram, but you will need one to find and verify the relay operation.

You will need to remove the back seats and you will see the fuel pump in between the back seats and trunk. Run the car, remove the fuel pump fuse to relieve the pressure and then the car will die. Remove the pipes to the fuel pump, replace it and refit the pipes. Pump the gas pedal a few times and start it up (remember the fuse!)

If it is inside the tank (the fuel pump), then you will see the tank is held on by straps. Take them off, have ajack under it and remove the filler neck and screws holding it to the car. Remove the tank, undo the central bit where wires and pipes come out and slide the fuel pump out, replace what you have just done and refit.

Hope this helps, please vote :)

im not sure, but you can check under the car.
most are under the car.

go to the rear of the car, and work your way forward...
follow the fuel lines, from the gas tank..

its probably a white plastic filter,, may be sitting in a metal case to protect it..

Where on the car is the fuel filter in a 1986 honda civic gl?

Left side. lay underneath, just in front of the rear tyre. It is encased with a bracket holding it in place, easy enough to get of with a screwdriver but there is no stopper in the fuel line so be prepared to be drenched in fuel.
