If you're seeing an icon that looks like a thermometer, that's NOT a temperature warning- it's a LOW COOLANT LEVEL warning. Your coolant reservoir has a float switch that turns this warning light ON when the coolant level gets low enough. All you have to do is add coolant.

1999 VW Cabrio dash light

Obviously it's temperature gauge light. Check for coolant level first. Then check for coolant leak. If coolant is leaking out of your car, the lower coolant levels in your engine will cause it to overheat. If you have your heater on and it starts blowing hot air instead of cool, your engine is low on coolant. This will cause to flash a warning light on your car's dashboard.

Drive indicator light flashing on dash

The flashing is the transmission computer's blinking an error code in attempt to tell you what's wrong with it. This is very unlikely to resolve itself, Don't take it to the dealer! Big repairs like this will get your wallet ***** big time. Take it to a transmission specialist.( D-for drive is flashing ). first check the sensor on top of transmission, the wires may be loose or broken. you may also want to change fluid and filter, if it is over due. good-day !

Signal and brake light problems; Indicators flash fast on dash but not outside; Emergency flashers flash normally on the dash but still nothing on the outside. Brake lights don't work. This has been an...

Replace the turn signal switch. They can be fixed if your up to it, but you have to disassemble the switch. there are parts that have to go back in the right order. Let me know. The longer you let this go , you will start to lose the headlights. All the outside lights run threw the turn switch.

Doors wont lock. Windows won't work. Car thinks the door is locked because when I open the hood alarm goes off. Security light is flashing when doors are closed. Locks don't engage when driving...

Window fuse's and relay's may be up under driver or passenger side dash or behind glove box, under the hood and even under the seats, and finally on the ends of the dash. All passenger power windows and locks are controlled thru and get power from the master control switch on the drivers door. Could be a broken wire in the rubber boot going from the door to the body. You will have to eliminate each till you find the culprit. Check that all switches return to neutral when released. It could also be the body control module.

I don't know where the signal light flasher is located the signal lights don't flash

Your vehicle has 2 flasher relays. One for the turn signals and one for the hazard lights. The turn signal flasher relay is located on the drivers side, under the dash, mounted on the drivers (Left) side of the steering column. The hazard flasher is mounted on top of the steering column. Do not get them mixed up.

Lights on a/c flash on and off this started when i couldnt get it to start got a jump then the security was acting goofy had to put security key in to start it and now a/c dash lights flash

1998 Plymouth Grand Voyager-similar happen to me when my battery was very low. I replaced the battery, then rear wiper control lights flashed, a/c control lights flashed.
HVAC controls need to be recalibrated, this is a factory test that involves pressing these control buttons in a certain sequence, which may take a couple minutes to complete. I'm sorry I don't have the written steps to share, but I hope this leads you to a solution.
