Question about 1997 Buick Park Avenue
Have a 1997 Park Avenue that the interior lights will not come on. Reading lamps do not come on with their switches either. Rear defogger also doesn't work. Have checked fuses/relays in all three fuse blocks that I thought were related, none were bad. Wound't say it's a door switch because lights will not come on with any door open. Please help.
The fuse box you are looking for is under the dash on the passenger side, you will need to remove the plstic kick plate then look up and a little to the right, you might have to remove three screws located along the rear edge of the panel, when you have the cover off in the upper left hand corner of the fuse box you are looking for a fuse that is marked [ SBM ] this fuse is for you interior lights, there should be extra fuses, in the second row second from the bottom and the third row second rfom the top, you'll know their spares if they pull out really easy and have no metal connectors inside the slots you just pulled them out of.
