Question about 2000 Toyota Camry
My 2000 Camry hand brake does not stay up (it falls down). It does stay up once in a while (like when on a uphill). My car state inspection failed because of this.
I hardly ever used this hand brake. No rear brake or tire job has occured in the last 10 months.
Thanks in advance.
Sounds like you need to get the cables lubed up. They probably partially or totally seized from not being used.Sometimes, some penetrating spray, and keep working them will loosen things up, but if not, your rear brakes may need complete service to fix.
