2002 buick rendezvous both electric seats quit working fuses OK switches work and lights come on. I am mechanical but if anyone has had the same issues I may save a bunch of time looking.

Lights come on? Are you talking about the seat heaters? If so, the heating elements may be burned out.

Check the circuits at the element connectors. If there is power and ground at the element connectors under the seat, then the elements are burned out.

Other than that, I would recommend scanning your Body Control Module for fault codes.

2003 Buick Regal: how do I hook up the front seat heating system? I think they're just disconnected. I can see all the wires under the driver's side seat. Neither the driver's side seat heater or seat...

The last time I checked one of these, the wiring harness for everything you just described is underneath the seat. You'll have to move the seat all the way forward or back to get to the harnesses to reconnect them.

I hope this helps! :) Let me know if you need any further assistance in this matter.

Heated seats dont work what to look for?

If the buttons light up when you turn them on then the fuse is good. What usually happens is the element of the heater part burns or break and the heater will not work. This is a 2 part heater. One for the back and one for the bottom. If one goes neither of them will work. You have to ohm both to see which one is bad and replace it.Usually the bottom because it takes the most abuse. If the light does not come on then check the fuses and check connections under the seat.Good luck.

Driver heated seat not working

Check you connections both under the seat and at the switch. Many times corrosion will occur due to the amount of amperage that goes through the circuit.

Drivers heated seat won' work

Probably a fuse!
Under the dash on the drivers side or under the hood.
New cars have them labeled right at the fuses not in the manual!
Hope this is helpful.

Good Luck!

On a 2001 Regal? The NHTSA's Office of Defects Investigation lists no recalls on heated seats. Sorry!

Buick Lesabre Heated Seats not working

The problem is most likely caused by shorted heating grids in the seat cushion itself, kind of like the heating element in an electric blanket, very expensive to replace.
