Rpms are sticking. They do not go down when car is idle.

Not sure of year model of car but some vehicles have a return spring to pull the throttle down, which can break. You should get some throttle body cleaner if your vehicle has one and clean same. If you have a carburetor get carburetor cleaner and spray mechanism which moves when accelerator pushed and also spray down throat of carburetor. Many people cause a vehicle fire by cleaning carburetors while the engine is running. Do NOT oil any throttle parts.

Your picture won't come up. If you are getting oil in the air filter housing, check your pcv system (Positive Crankcase Ventilation). Your pcv valve may be plugged or not working.
And just so you know, it is not a carburetor. It is a throttle body assembly with throttle body injection. You have fuel injection with injectors mounted in the assembly-much more reliable than a carburetor.

I have a 86 ford f-250 w/ a carbed 460.no fuel to carb. was told i had very low oil pressure.would changing oilpump and assending unit fix my propblem? do i have to pull motor to change oilpump? what...

If you're not getting fuel to the carburetor, check/change your fuel filter, check the fuel pump. And for the oil pressure you can change the oil pressure sending unit to see if thats the problem, for the oil pump the oil pan has to come off, it can be changed without pulling the engine, however you still have to lift the engine up.

Petrol mix with engine oil

There are 2 causes of PETROL in the oil,
  • Ur mechanical fuel pump got a leak under the DiAPRAGM
  • Ur carburetor FLOODED w/ fuel and when starting it (FUEL) goes all the way to the cylinder.

Better check on those, and u can get a mechanic to assess the problem in actual!

Tell me if coud help u more!

1 what kind of oil add to engine. 2 there is smoke , is it carbiratur problem? thank you

Smoke can be caused by a rich condition in the fuel mixture ,oil burning, or anti freeze burning . The cause of these issues can be many. Start by checking your fluid levels. First you mention oil, If you do your own oil changes , buy your oil buy the case and carry a quart in the trunk in a plastic bag. Use any oil that meets the requirements of Toyota. All the oil is so much better now, than when your car was built , almost brand with a current rating (SJ, SK,SL,etc) should work fine. If you take out all your spark plugs and inspect them, you can tell by the color and deposits what is making the smoke gas, oil , or anti freeze. You may even be able to tell if the problem is isolated to one cylinder. One other thing to check , see if your air filter is plugged . That might cause the smoke (more fuel than air). Running a fuel system cleaner in the tank and cleaning the carburetor throat with carb cleaner may also aid in proper running.

Oil leaking from left side of 6 cylinder 250 chevy c10

Make sure your valve cover is tight. They are known to come loose. Ckeck oil filter tightness and be sure when you change oil the old gasket of filter does not stick to bkock. This will cause an improper seal.

I would first check the air intake system before and after the air filter for a restriction. That could cause the engine to run rich.

Oil leaking

most likely the valve cover gasket is leaking. this is best case scenario. a fairly easy and inexpensive fix.

most other oil leaks are difficult to fix and very expensive.

edit.
you can get the gasket at a renault dealership. an auto parts store might have one, or can order you one. in the USA, there are very few renaults, so, most auto parts places would not stock parts for them. there is no demand.
