Question about 1999 Chevrolet Blazer
I have a 1999 Chevy Blazer 4WD. When I push the buttons to shift into 4wd the indicator light just flashes and then the light goes back to 2wd. Any help with this problem would be apreciated. Thank You Weldon
Pull out your courtesy lamp and ATC fuses for 1 minute then reinstall then cycle key on and off 5 times this will reset the 4x4 computer and should fix your problem. and for that question by boscia they do not have locking hubs manual or automatic.

Im dealing with the same problem right now!,on a 96 blazer(I vowed not to keep it,but I kept it anyway)3rd one thats come along with the same "on-off-on-off"indicater lamp issue, and no 4x-high.
these cars have many components which operate the "4x4".
1)vac diaphram under batt.
2)switch on front diff.
3)vac switch on top of t-case
4)acuator motor on bottom driver side of t-case.
5)yards of vac hoses.
6)dash selector switch.
7)electronic controll unit under dash(below heat controlls)
most ALL the times, the prob is,in order.
1)acuartor motor,a manual conversion IS available(takes 5 items off of the above list)
2)vac diaphram under batt.
3)vac switch on top of t-case(if you remove vac tube "cluster"(3-hoses),and you have trans-oil dripping from it IT'S BAD!.
