Remove the door panel so you can access the wire that plugs into the mirror control. Use a 12 test light to determine which wire provides power to the switch. (key on engine off) Once the power terminal is identified (key on engine off) use a jumper wire to send power to the mirror motors. There should be five terminals one for power, one for each direction. If they all work the switch is bad. If no power, open circuit so blown fuse. If they don't work bad mirror motors

yes but the computer components will be very difficult also 1990 is obd1 and 2008 is obd2.0 so you would need to get a plug and play harness through a jdm dealer
