Question about Ford Focus

1 Answer

I have a Ford Focus TDDI 1.8. The Heater is not working and blows cold at all times regardless of revs, engine temp, distance etc.I have been told it could be a bloked Heater Matrix, Is it possible to flush this or is there a product that can be added to the radiator to chemically flush the heater matrix. Thanks.

It may be a vacuum leak. Some vehicles use engine vacuum to operate heater controls. A leak would cause the controls to malfunction and also increase engine idle. Check all the vacuum hoses for damagedvor unplugged ends. Hope this helps.
