Question about 2008 Toyota 4Runner
I've rented a 2008 toyota 4runner from Alamo and have driven from Chicago to Lafayette, Indiana and have just noticed a red intermitent light flashing under the Passenger Airbag sign on the dashboard when I switch off the ignition. I haven't noticed it before could you give an idea of what might be the problem - I haven't a handbook and I have phoned Almo and they said I shouldn't worry?!
Many thanks for any help you can give me
The flashing red light that looks like a car is the "Security Indicator". This flashes when the vehicle is switched off, to alert potential theives that the 4Runner has an Anti-Theft system installed. Do not worry about it, the flashing is quite normal, and the bulb is really a Diode, and it will not drain the battery.
I hope this has answered your question.
