Last week same thing happened. When I returned from out of town I tried to start the car and it fired right up. Again, when I turn the key I get nothing. The battery is new, what else could it be?
I'm no expert, but I've had that problem before, and it's always been the result of not enough juice getting to the starter. If your battery is good, double checking all the connections would be my first thought. Clean the connections thoroughly and tighten them well. A bad connection could also be the reason it's an intermittent problem.

Sounds like an antitheft problem I would start with the antitheft system. Usually when you only have one key all keys have to be programmed together even the original. When you have more than one it is easy to program additional keys.

If you crank the engine with the headlights on and the lights do not go dim there is no current going to the starter. This could be;
take it in for scrap at the junkyard...lol

All connections are clean and good, new battery 2 months ago. It looks like it might be part of the security syste. I let it sit for 10 minutes, tried again and it started right up.
