Can't see it, can't hear it, but I'd look at the transmission mount, all driveshaft universals and front slip joint first!

No acceleration after 45/50 mph

I would investigate a clogged fuel filter or weak fuel pump. May just not be getting enough gas to go faster....

Don't forget to check the air filter. Dirty air filter will usually cause issues at lower speeds too but can't be ruled out.

My 96 grand am is making a grinding noise under the car when accelerate the faster i go the louder it gets and when i hit the smallest bump it knocks under the passenger floor board you can feel it bumping...

Brakes hanging up or axle is going out. CV boot is probably torn and you are hearing bearings crashing around. Check before it goes out or you may end up crashing and stranded

I have a 2001 Pontiac Grand Am SE. Two days ago I started to hear a quiet knock on the bottom of the engine. I can also feel is slightly on the floor near my feet. I usually happens when I hit 40-45 mph....

If if feels like a none rhythmic knock it could indicate a lose or broken muffler mount. If you hear it at acceleration or when the engine is under load it could also be a broken engine mount. The muffler mount is easy to replace provided the brackets are not rusted away. The engine mount will require the engine weight lifted of the mount to replace it. Good Luck.

could be wheel bearing.. could be rotor or brakes..replace them all.. do it yourself save a grand. under 3 hours work.. even if 4 hours thats a big savings.
