Do you mean the radiator fan ? Or the heater fan ? if it is the radiator fan, you can check it. Pull apart the plug where the heater recieves current. It is clipped on, you remove it by pressing the clip and pulling on it. Take some wires and pull of a liittle bit of the rubber insulation form both ends and connect the wires to the battery positive and to ground. Place the other end of the wire in the positive of the FAN wire male end. You had previously removed. And to ground on the wire male plug. The fan is supposed to turn smoothly and at a good speed at 12 volts from the battery. if it does not, your fan needs replacement.

92 vw jetta,wont start,runs for3 seconds,when i turn ignition switch on,nodash lights,only battery light appears,no other lightslightup like before,locks work,dont understand what to do now

Is this a 92 Jetta like you describe or a 02 Jetta TDI? If it's a 92 Jetta, I can almost guarantee the ignition switch is bad. Common failure. They're cheap, but require special tools and experience to remove.

92 jetta lift

HI,
Get an engine heater and ask @ the auto shops what the do for DIESELS in the winter. As far as lifting you're unlikely to find anything. Make sure you have good snow tires and carry chains and a shovel. You should probably look for an AWD car or truck.

Fuel pump is makeing noises and goes on an off

I think that vehicle has 2 fuel pumps. The secondary pump is located under the spare tire this was on a 92 GLi 16V, I'm not sure what engine you have but worth a look.

2006 Jetta TDI cooling fan issues

When A/C is on, both fans should be on all the time. If one is not, probably a dead fan. Replace said fan.

Vw Jetta 1992 Deisel no Fuel in the intake line ! I guess fuel pump need to be repaced ?How do I go about it ? I have already changed fuel filter ! Cheers ,Hamid

Thanks for your replay !
I have not been able to get any fuel coming into the Filter ! so I am thinking that problem is the Fuel Pump and I have not been able to find it's location ! I guess it's in the fuel tank and because it's Sunday I can not even find the part ( Fuel pump) !
If you can tell me where it is that will be great, thanks.Hamid

My wipers dont move

If you can here the motor running then the wiper linkage is broken or stripped.
See if you can move the wipers by hand.
If you can then the nut at the bottom of the wiper arm is loose.
