Question about 1999 Chevrolet Lumina

1999 chevrolet lumina 3100 crank sensor code

I had a code pop up it was a generic code PO336 which is sensor a circuit or range problem i was told to replace sensor so i repaced the one behind the balancer and cleared code and startedand a while later came back on for same code and can not locate if there is 2 crank sensors or what eles could be the problem

    i replaced the knock sensor also and now it is throwing a code for the crank sensor the same one and now one for the knock sensor what eles could be the problem or what can i do or is there 2 of each or what i dont know what elese is there to try please help

I have found that the knock sensor will do the same thing

year/make/model??? P0336 is a crank sensor circuit code. P0340 is a cam sensor circuit code

Are po101 and po336 related

I doubt it.

Code 101 is for a problem with the mass air flow sensor, and code 336 is for a problem with the crank sensor.
Those sensors and circuits would need to be tested.

99 Silverado Z71 5.3L my truck ildles fine when I accelerate it misfires and engine shakes. ran scanner Po405 and Po336 are the codes changed egr did nothing

No start

Recheck your connections. May be a stretched timing chain. Incorrect correlation between a CKP and CMP will cause these codes. Doesn't mean the sensors are bad, it may be the chain.

You need to get the codes read to verify,but i think your in need of coil pack or wires.

P0336 - misfire - lumina 1997 3.1

po336 on 97 lumina 3.1 is---crankshaft position sensor A ckt range /perf.---this is a bad crankshaft sensor!!!
