I have a noise coming from the dash and it drives me crazy..also i had the check engine light come on and the code said leaky valve, well the dealership is trying to fix everything but(the head) what sould i do? i Know it needs a new head but they told me they talked to GM and that GM told them to do somthing else..well the light came on again...and again they fixed everything but the 3500$ head and now my warrentys ran out?? help what should i do? my next car will be a Honda or Toyota
You can get another motor from a certified salvage place on EBAY for $700.

They probably wont fix it now that the warrantys are up. Sure they'll fix it if you pay them the $3500. Save the 3500 and put it towards a toyota. I have a 88 Toyota P/U with 156,000 miles. Runs like it just came off the lot brand new. Only thing i've had to do is replace the brake master cylinder
