On the ends where the lift cylinders attach there is a spring clip that wraps around the end of the lift cylinder, take a small pocket screwdriver and remove these U clips and just pull the lift cylinder free, make sure you have the trunk supported so it doesn't knock you out.

I need to replace my radiator im my 95 grand cherokee laredo and i cant figure out how to get it to come out

You have to remove the engine fan and radiator shroud and the also you have to unbolt the top of the radiator support and remove it. The radiator basically then lifts straight up, out of the jeep.

HI, I have got the new Azera trunk lift support cylinders. I do not know how to replace the old lifts with new ones. please send the steps if anyone know how to do this.

These gas filled struts have a "U" shaped clip on both ends of the strut. Using a small flat tip screwdriver, pop these clips outward (not all the way out). Lifting the trunk lid slightly will allow you to remove these struts and install the new ones.

I need to replace the rear door lifts. How do I do this? I can not figure out how to remove the old ones.

First hold up tailgate with a strong broom handle or piece of wood or have a helper hold it up. The lift supports are pressed on to a ball post. There should be a retaining clip, that slides up slightly, on each end where they attach. Slide up clips or down depending on which end. Pry between end of shaft & ball post. They will pop off. Repeat on both ends. New ones just pop on & slide clip to hold in place.

2006 nissan sentra trunk doorrreplacement

all you have to do is inspect the old trunk door how it is attached to the hinges.

be careful on the tension bars that are lifting the trunk. once you released them, the trunk would just fall down.

there are two of these tension bars, they are like springs to help you lift the trunk and they are very tricky to remove and install
after you have done that then it just a matter of removing 2 bolts on each side of the hinge and remove the trunk.

if you have electrical accessories attached to the trunk such as solenoids or trunk cables, remove them first.

then do the reverse on installation.

you may want somebody helping you hold to the trunk before you remove the bolts. they are heavy.

tnx 4 using fixya,

drcool
