Is it pink if it is then your trans cooler in your radiator is bad and you should replace immediately, check your trans fluid too.if coolant gets in your trans then it will ruin the seals in it.

I got caught in high water in my 2004 mercury mini van i got a little wayer in tge engine hoe can i fix it?

If the car has simply cut out because water has splashed around, dry things out and spray with a water displacing oil such as WD40.

If the water found its way into the engine you're going to have to change the oil and oil filter. You'll probably be able to dry the air filter.

Remove the spark plugs and use an airline to blow/dry the cylinders out. Use the airline to dry all electrical connections and also around the fuel system.

I have a 1999 ford windstar it over heats

Has the radiator been checked for rust? bet it is red with rust right now from a leaking engine cylinder head gasket, very common in this van. Remove the radiator and have it professionally cleaned and replace the thermostat and flush the engine block and put a can of head gasket sealer in the system on refill with clean new coolant mixed 50/50 with low alkaline water like drinking water from the store..

I need to find a transmission for my 1999 ford windstar mini van but I don't know what size I need. I want to find a cheap used one. My vin is 2fmza5142xbc10977. Would it be F88P-BA or XF2P-BA ?

How would a used unit help you ?

It may be worse than yours

You always rebuilt yours or install
a reman ,never used, waste of time

I would get ride of it, and stay away from
any van type vehicles,the transaxles
do not last

1999 dodge mini van is making a loud clicking sound and the oil light is on

Make sure you have oil in the van. Add oil if needed. The noise is caused by lack of oil pressure as is the light. If you have sufficient oil, then you have a bad oil pump or the bearings are worn completely out. If you want to save this engine don't drive it untill it's figured out and repaired.

2001 ford windstar leaks antifreeze checked overflow container and found oil in it. Then check oil dip stick and no eater was found

Most likely you have a head gasket issue, very common on these engines. Head gaskets need to be changed, the water in the oil can cause engine damge by washing down the bearings.

1999 windstart upper intake gasket problems maybe?

sounds like an intake leak or a vacuum leak , would start it and spray like carb cleaner or starting fluid on the top of the motor while it is cool not hot and see if you get a rise or fall in rpm,s if it does get a response chase down the vacuum leak, if not it is probally the intake gasket
